When you feel a certain need or strong desire to replicate a particular behavior notwithstanding its end results and upshots, the condition can be attributed or classified as addiction. In reality, there are many factors that precipitate an addiction. These factors are the ones responsible in instilling in the minds of the people the conduciveness they get whenever they use a certain behavior or concept. However, the very core of addiction is that it should cause harm to the conceed person. This is because if the behavior does not cause any harm, then, the behavior can only be considered compulsive but cannot be classified as addiction. With the advent of the Inteet, a new kind of addiction had been created by people who continuously advocate the viability of the Inteet. This is known as Inteet addiction. Learning for free

If you are like me your e-mail was jammed during the "Butterfly Marketing" promotion. I have been following Mike for quite awhile and he is a fantastic marketer. But it does seem to be kind of a stretch for most list owners to have been pushing such an EXPENSIVE product. $997.00 isn't just a drop in the bucket for most of us. But, I really appreciate the fact that I got to watch it reach this point. See I first heard about this program almost 8 months ago. It crept into his emails and other sites here and there. He mentioned it in his speaking engagements and even taught it to a select few. And it started creating a little buzz. Everybody was wondering what this thing could be that he was so pumped on getting just right for the world to see. So here we are 8 months later and every body that is anybody is pushing "Butterfly Marketing." I tried a few times on the first day to go to his site. And guess what? He didn't have enough band width. And I am sure that he was setup at the max his host could give. He created a buying frenzy on a product that he is charging almost $1000.00 for. He sold over 1000 copies by 5:00 pm and it started at noon. So if we look at that he grossed $997,000.00 in 5 hours. But he had to pay his affiliates their commission and pay for the production of the package. So lets just say that he got to keep 40%. Well, $398,800.00 isn't bad either for 5 hours worth of sales. Now that isn't really fare to say because like I said earlier "Butterfly Marketing" has been in the works for quite awhile. But, when I first heard about it, it wasn't a product yet it was just a works in progress. So over the last 8 to 12 months Mike has slowly put together a program and started a buzz on his own time schedule. That's not to say he didn't work hard on his program, but he didn't rush it either. So if every single package that he sells is from affiliates, (which it's not.) and he only sold 1000 (Which he has already sold more. Today's count he has 237 left out of 1500.) then Mike has made a minimum of $33,233.33 per month over the last year and he gets it in one lump sum now. This is on top of what he normally makes. Which I can tell you is a very sizable amount would make most people very happy. But, that doesn't make any difference. He could be unemployed So with out spending a fortune we can take home some very valuable information. Let's look at what we have leaed so far. 1. Don't quit your day job. Mike continued doing what he always does. Day in and day out he has a routine promoting his other products and making a living the way he makes his living.:-) 2. Take your time and create a product or package that is something that you can be proud of. If it takes you a year and you only make $10,000 per month. That wouldn't be all bad. 3. CREATE a BUZZZZ. I know that you may not be a big shot like Mike, but he wasn't always a big shot either. And so what if you have to drive a new Cadillac instead of a Lamborghini. Create a buzz where ever you can forums, blogs and every other way you can think of. Get a basic website up that allows people to opt in for more information. 4. DON'T QUIT!!! Can you imagine putting so much time into something and then quitting? What if Mike had said after 8 months "Forget this. I'll never get it done." As ridiculous as that sounds I have done it and I don't know of a single person out there that hasn't. This has cost me thousands of dollars. Not to mention over the years probably months and months of wasted time. So I am not telling you not to buy Butterfly Marketing but perhaps the very biggest and most valuable lesson to be leaed here is not from his package but from his actions. Something that I leaed in the military is to lead by example. Well, we have a number of leaders on the Inteet that we can lea from just by watching what they do. The Evolution of Internet

Inteet, also known as the World Wide Web, did not always exist. This is hard to believe for my 4 year old son. For him, it is natural and simple to play an Inteet game, or sit with me to look at pictures of his favourite TV show online. So I decided it would be a good idea to tell him, and many others, a bit about how Inteet became what it is today. I will keep it simple, avoiding the usage of technical terms. Back on 1969, a network called ARPANET was bo. This network evolved to be the Inteet we know today. ARPANET was created by ARPA, which stands for Advanced Research Projects Agency. ARPA is the central research and development organization for the Department of Defense of the United States. At first, ARPANET connected 4 educational institutions. By 1971, it connected 15. This network was not easy to use nor open to the wide public. People who used it (computer experts, scientists, engineers) had to lea a complex system. As years went by, and thanks to the hard work of several visionnaires, this network matured and became easier to use, allowing more people to communicate through it. There was email. It was not as friendly as it is today, by no means, but it was easy enough for non-technical people to use it, to communicate and share files and resources. The network grew, there was a lot of content and it became necessary to have easier ways to find the information. The first Inteet index was created in 1989. It was called Archie. You had to lea a set of commands to be able to search Archie. The first browser, gopher, was a text browser. It was created in 1991, at the University of Minnesota, and got its name from the University mascot, the golden gopher. You did not need to lea commands to use gopher. You just typed in a number to select the menu option you wanted. The next step was the first graphical browser. It was created in 1993 and it was called Mosaic. Mosaic evolved to be Netscape, a very successful graphical browser. Then other graphical browsers entered the picture, like Inteet Explorer. Browsers let us use the Inteet and hide all its complexity from us. They led to Inteet's massive usage. With massive usage, the number of Inteet websites exploded. Nowadays, Inteet is used by millions of people, and even little kids are able to surf it. It became a huge market, an important communications tool and a display for all kinds of businesses. If you have a business or offer a service, it is a good idea to have a website to show what you do and get more customers. Or use your website to offer valuable services to your existing customers. You can even create a website for your family or your class, to share items, display pictures... If you think about Inteet, possibilities are almost endless.

Yahoo Smashes Google For You And Me

Not so long ago in the beginning of the inteet age the search engine function of the major portals was seen as a necessary evil to help drive customers to profitable areas of the business. Does anyone remember the Go Network? The companies that forgot why customers went to the portal in the first place were the first ones to go out of business. There is a solid business adage that says you must take care of and grow your core business first and only support ancillary businesses that compliment and enhance your core business. Most users of search engines are either searching for information or shopping. These users are the core customers of the search engine. The primary function they demand of the search engine is good search results. If the search engine is considered the aggregator of search results, why would expect secondary aggregators to get the best results in our search. If I am a restaurant owner and I am searching for "restaurant supplies" and my search results are filled with directories for restaurant supplies, why not go to the directories first. Is the search engine really doing its job if the results tu out secondary results. Then I must do a second search in the directory to find my desired result. Why are these directories ranking so high in the search engine results. If the suspected algorithms that Google uses to rank web pages show that links truly are the determinant factor in assigning page rank, this would explain the result. Explaining the reason for the result still doesn't explain the logic that leads to directories being so prevalent in the results. Would it not benefit the search engine, if it were to be your directory of choice? If you do not to put the word directory in your search, I would safely assume that you were not looking for a directory. Search engines could satisfy the needs of the directories by having a separate search just for directories. Otherwise don't include them. This would only enhance their customer's experience by saving them precious time and aggravation. It could even be a marketing point. Google claims to be a democratically controlled search engine, with links equating to votes for particular web pages. Yet unannounced changes in their ranking structure have wreaked havoc on many a small Inteet entrepreneur. The danger with democracies is that the customers can vote with their dollars and their time and use competing services. In my very unscientific comparison I have found Google to be the most likely to include directory results in general searches. Lately I have found myself using Yahoo more and more in my everyday searches as the results are more relevant and less time consuming, which is good for you and me.

There are several reasons why an inteet business requires its own domain name including: * A domain name makes your site more credible and reliable * The URL of a domain name will never change even if you change you website hosting, so that customers are not needed to be informed should you change hosting. * Choosing a good domain name will make your site more memorable to your clients, so that people will recall your company easily which spells more profits. * Advertisers and sponsors are more likely to sponsor websites who have their own domain name. * Your won domain name allows you to set up various email addresses for specific uses, e.g. support@yourdomain.com and sales@yourdomain.com The organization that is responsible for maintaining and co-ordinating the entire domain name system is called ICAAN. This is because with the huge number of websites in the Inteet, some of your ideas for the ideal domain name might have already been taken already so the more names you can think of, the better. When deciding on your domain name also consider the top level domain TLD) extension you want. The TLD is the .com part of the domain name domainname.com. There are a variety of domain extensions, and the one you wish to use may well affect the price you will have to pay. The range of TLDs includes .com, .net, .org, .info and .name (used with a personal name e.g. JezLacey.name). None of these TLDs have specific requirements. In addition to these universal TLDs there is also .biz, which is for commercial and business use only. Finally, there are also country specific TLDs, which can only be used by persons who are citizens and residents of that country and by businesses and organizations present in that country where domain extension is applicable, example include .us (USA), .co.uk (UK) and .fr (France). Step 2: Obtain the IP address or domain nameserver from your hosting company. A nameserver is a special type of domain that is used to identify a particular server.
